Founder bio · for use

Chef Eve Natasha.

Eve Natasha is the founder and head chef of Stage Stop BBQ, the chef-driven BBQ chain operating four locations across Colorado Springs. She grew up on her family’s ranch at 6620 Old Stage Road — the same address as her flagship restaurant, The Cantina — where she learned to smoke brisket on a propane-tank smoker her father built in 2001.

Trained at Auguste Escoffier in Denver and a former line cook at one of the city’s downtown fine-dining rooms, Eve parked the first Stage Stop BBQ trailer outside Mash Mechanix Brewing in 2017. The Cantina opened in 2021, the permanent food cart at Urban Animal Beer Co’s Star Ranch taproom in 2023, and the Westside’s Old Colorado City stop in 2024. Manitou Springs, Pueblo, and Denver are next.

Eve was a 2024 finalist for the James Beard Foundation’s Best Chef · Mountain region and is quoted in Bon Appétit’s 2025 “American BBQ Outside the South” piece.
